Company 1

Station 1 is located at 6171 Shattuck Road between Lawndale and Hospital Roads and is the main training facility for the department. The facility is also used by the Saginaw County Fire Chiefs Association to train recruit fire fighters from all over Saginaw County. Renovations at the station, completed in October 2007, increased the size of the classroom and provides additional seating and improved audio-visual capabilities. The renovation also included the construction of a 1,000 sq. ft. training house which provides capabilities for ventilation, search & rescue, and confined-space training.
